Ballet Arizona’s Community Engagement department and The School of Ballet Arizona are proud to offer an Adaptive Dance program for children ages 5-22!
The Adaptive Dance Program at Ballet Arizona is designed to create a class environment that is sensitive to the needs of students with Down syndrome while nurturing their self-expression and developing their movement, social, and rhythmic skills.

To register for the Adaptive Dance classes, families must contact the School of Ballet Arizona at school@balletaz.org  

Focuses on the basics of controlled and coordinated movement – developing balance, coordination, stamina, and focus. A caregiver must be present and attend each class with their student. Class focus is on skill-building and stamina.

Session runs Saturdays from 6/17/23 – 7/22/23

Class time: 9:00 am – 9:45 am

Tuition: $115.00

All classes take place on Saturdays at The School of Ballet Arizona (in-person)

Builds on the concepts taught in AD 1 and incorporates more complex sequencing, longer dance periods, more traditional classical movements, and requires a higher amount of self-control. Caregiver attendance is to be determined at the discretion of the instructor. Class focus is on skill-building, technique mastery, and stamina.

All classes take place on Saturdays at The School of Ballet Arizona (in-person)
