Community Angel Nights

Become a Ballet Arizona Angel. For just $120 ($30 per person) you can sponsor a family of four and make it possible for them to experience the magic of the “The Nutcracker”.

“Our daughter Grace has a form of muscular dystrophy called Friedreich’s Ataxia. As we were searching for a diagnosis, Grace was taking ballet lessons. During a recital, I knew that something was terribly wrong. She just did not move like the other little girls. Grace has lost the ability to dance. She can walk only very short distances with a lot of help. However, she still loves ballet and will watch on her iPad for hours at a time. She has the entire score to ‘The Nutcracker’ on her iTunes. ‘The Nutcracker’ was such a highlight for her! She loved every minute! Thank you for making her world brighter.” — Angel Night attendees

On December 14, Symphony Hall will be filled with the laughter and smiles of over 2,000 children and families participating in our Nutcracker Community Angel Night performance. For some, this will be their first time attending a professional ballet and their only holiday celebration.

Each year your generosity makes more than 4,000 tickets available free of charge to clients from 150 service organizations and children and families from community centers in disadvantaged neighborhoods.

Click here to become an Angel by making a gift today and supporting this wonderful holiday tradition. For more information please contact Dana Manners, Annual Fund Manager, at 602.343.6510 or via email at
