Welcome to Ballet Arizona’s Student Matinee Series!
Arts education can play a critical role in a child’s academic and social development. The Student Matinee exposes approximately 7,000 students annually; however, many children have still never seen a ballet. It is wonderful that you, as educators, have taken the next step in providing an educational experience they will never forget! Ballet Arizona gives young audiences an opportunity to watch ballet in a fully produced theatrical setting at Phoenix Symphony Hall. Students attending a Ballet Arizona Student Matinee will see an excerpt from the production.
Preceding the excerpt will be a short introduction and following will be a Q&A with the dancers and an interactive activity.
Please go over viewing guidelines with your students before they come to the ballet by clicking on Ballet Etiquette under the Teachers and Educators tab.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email Joseph Cavanaugh at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 602.343.6550
Groups (minimum 10) must make reservations in advance in order to attend Student Matinees. No reservations can be accepted by phone and you must reserve a seat for every member of your group. Reservations are subject to availability due to limited seating.
