Joined Ballet Arizona: 2012
Ms. Irving-DePasquale began her ballet training in Worcester, Massachusetts with the Worcester Youth Ballet where she trained and performed under Cynthia Bernshausen, Jeremy Collins, and Dierdre Miles-Burger. During the summers she trained with Maria Vegh, at the Boston Ballet, and at David Howard’s Summer Dance Intensive. She received her bachelor’s degree from Bard College, where she majored in French and studied Dance under Modern Dance legends such as Leslie Boyce. At Bard College, Ms. Irving-DePasquale was choreographer and soloist for the student-led ballet company. In 2007, she moved to Phoenix to teach first grade through Teach for America. After teaching first grade for two years, she returned to her first great passion, ballet. Ms. Irving-DePasquale has danced professionally with Convergence Ballet Company and currently dances with Terpsicore Dance Company in Phoenix. She has performed as a guest artist for Yuma Ballet Theater in The Sleeping Beauty as Aurora, and in The Nutcracker as Chinese. She is currently on faculty at the Arizona School for the Arts, and is in the Children’s Division at The School of Ballet Arizona.
