Catherine Hader

Catherine received her formal ballet training at Canada’s National Ballet School and began her professional career with The National Ballet of Canada under Artistic Director Erik Bruhn. Her classical repertoire includes Swan Lake, Giselle, Les Sylphides, La Bayadere, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Coppelia and Rudolf Nureyev’s Sleeping Beauty. Catherine also made guest appearances as a principal dancer in The Canadian Opera Company’s La Traviata and The Merry Widow and was featured in the Academy Award winning documentary Flamenco at 5:15.

 

An Improbable Dream, the dance documentary produced by Ms. Hader in association with the CBC, was honored with 5 T.V. and film industry awards in 2017.

 

Catherine is on the dance faculty at Arizona School for the Arts and is also a certified yoga instructor.
