Eric White began dancing at age 9 in Phoenix, Arizona. He trained with Scottsdale School of Ballet, San Francisco Ballet School, and Houston Ballet Academy where he later joined Houston Ballet II. Since joining Ballet Arizona in 2013, Eric has performed soloist roles in Ib Andersen’s Cinderella, La Bayadere, The Nutcracker, and Symphony Classique as well as Offscreen by Alejandro Cerrudo, and Flower Festival Pas de Deux by August Bournonville. He has been featured in major roles in Sylvia, Coppelia, The Nutcracker, Tango, La Bayadere, Swan Lake, Stars and Stripes as well as Stanton Welch’s Long and Winding Road, Fingerprints, A Dance in the Garden of Mirth, Blue, Brigade, and Red Earth. Eric has performed as a guest artist internationally in Switzerland, Indonesia, and Canada as well as around the United States. In 2011, he won 1st prize at the Youth America Grand Prix, Los Angeles and was later a finalist at the New York City finals.
