Training: The Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C.
Jessica is from Houston, Texas and began her training at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts school. She was a finalist in the YAGP ballet competition in New York City from 2004-2006. She attended and graduated from the Kirov Ballet Academy in Washington, D.C. where she trained in the Vaganova technique under Russian Ballet Master Marat Daukayev. Upon graduation in 2009 she joined Ballet Arizona. Her repertoire includes roles in over 25 classical, contemporary and Balanchine ballets plus touring with the company to New York and Chicago. Her soloist roles include Ib Anderson’s Swan Lake, Coppélia, Romeo & Juliet, The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, La Bayadère, Ratmansky’s Le Carnival des Animaux, Balanchine’s Serenade, Rubies and Episodes. She has also preformed in Napoli, Giselle, Don Quixote, Cinderella, 4 Temperaments, Western Symphony, Agon, Divertimento No 15, Violin Concerto, Ib Anderson’s Play, Topia, Round, and Symphonie Classique.
