Kathryn Noletto Felis

Kathryn Noletto Felis began her dance training at age 3 at Sheffield School of the Dance in her hometown of Mobile, Alabama under the direction of her grandmother, Mary Lou Sheffield Noletto, and her aunts, Theresa Hutchins and Celi Shinn. Discovering a passion for ballet and performance, she also began training at Mobile Ballet and was accepted into their performance company at age 11. Her additional training includes summer studies at Joffrey New York, American Ballet Theatre in New York, Bates Dance Festival, and American Dance Festival. She has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Spring Hill College in Mobile. She also received her Master of Fine Arts degree in Dance from Florida State University in December 2010. In October of 2010, she premiered three works of choreography for her Thesis Concert and additionally performed a solo choreographed by Michael Foley. Since moving to the Valley, she has taught Ballet at Mesa Arts Center and Title One Reading and Math at Queen of Peace Catholic School. Additionally, she has performed and danced with Treeline Dance Works. She is currently Dance Adjunct Faculty at Grand Canyon University and Glendale Community College.
