Dubraskha Arrivillaga grew up in Caracas, Venezuela, where she received her early ballet training with former Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo dancer, Nina Novak. Mrs. Arrivillaga danced with the National Ballet of Caracas, New World Ballet and Contemporary Ballet of Caracas before moving to the USA to join the Eugene Ballet Company.
Upon retiring from her dance career, she became faculty member of the children and upper division of Ballet Idaho/Eugene Ballet and later on, Classical Ballet Theatre, CityDance School and Conservatory, as well as faculty of Alaska Dance Theatre’s professional division. As a teacher, she has ABT® Teacher certification in pre-primary to level 7 and partnering. She has coached and prepared students for international and regional ballet competitions throughout the USA and staged classical repertoire as well as contemporary pieces from well-known choreographers such as Toni Pimble, Jessica Lang and Amy Seiwert.
Dubraskha has a Bachelors in Business Administration from Central University of Venezuela. She is also a certified Yoga instructor, with a certification from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, as well as a Meditation: Advanced Yoga Nidra Instructor – Integrative Amrit Method certification. Dubraskha joined the School in 2021.
