Joined Ballet Arizona: 2011
Jordan Daniels is a dance artist from Phoenix, Arizona, who graduated with his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts Degree in performance dance from Southern Methodist University in 2014. While at SMU he has performed works by Bill T. Jones, Adam Hougland, Cathy Young, Billy Sigenfeld, Bruce Wood, and new works by Josh Peugh, Danny Burceski, and Joost Vrouenraets contemporary “Rite of Spring.” As a choreographer, Jordan has created works including “JPj4,” “Face Down,” “Under Blankets,” “Body and Heart and All.” Face Down has been named an official selection for Beta Dance Festival at the Phoenix Center for the Arts, and The Dance Gallery Festival in New York City at Citi Group Alivin Ailey Theater Center in October. As a teacher, Jordan currently holds faculty positions at Ballet Arizona, Arizona School for the Arts, and FullOutPerformance Dance Company.
This is Mr. Jordan’s fourth year teaching at The School of Ballet Arizona.
