Virtual Events

During this difficult time, you might be missing nights out at the Ballet but you can still get your fill of culture with Ballet Arizona’s Virtual Events!

We are excited to offer our community these free & engaging virtual events to brighten the day while our stage is dark. Please make sure to check back regularly as new events are added often.

Thank you again for your continued support during this challenging time. Until we can meet again, we hope you stay safe and healthy and keep ballet alive in your home.

Symphony in Three Movements | May 31, 2020 | Streaming Sunday 9 am – Monday 9 am

Balanchine choreographed several notable masterpieces for the 1972 Stravinsky Festival including the majestic Symphony in Three Movements. Stravinsky had suggested the music as a ballet when the choreographer visited the composer in Hollywood during World War II. Despite its 21-minute length, the piece evokes a fuller symphonic breadth with two instruments, the harp and piano, providing the dominant contrasts. Music by Igor Stravinsky
