Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator ensures Ballet Arizona materials and event information are available to families and audiences accurately and in a timely manner. Uses in‑depth knowledge to respond to patron inquiries and supports marketing initiatives across performances, The School, Philanthropy, and Community Engagement. Essential Functions:

- Fosters an atmosphere of belonging internally and externally, by encouraging authenticity in audience engagement, representation in marketing communication, and the celebration of diversity in creative execution.
- In collaboration with the Director of Marketing, execute marketing strategies that increase Ballet Arizona’s public profile and brand recognition for programming in performance, educations, and community engagement.
- Work with the Director of Marketing, coordinate the development, distribution, and maintenance of print and electronic material including, but not limited to, direct mail, email, brochures, program books, and print advertising pages.
- Work with the Marketing team in content creation and curation on social media platforms related to The School of Ballet Arizona, including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Collaborates with other internal teams (e.g. Philanthropy and Community Engagement) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate media, and photography events by communicating all details with all those involved, including but not limited to administrative staff, artistic staff, production, and dancers.
- Coordinate video shoots with administration staff, artistic staff, dancers, and videographer.
- Use Tessitura (CRM) software as well as TRG Arts to generate lists composed of uniquely targeted attributes to create segmentation and suppressions for email and direct mail campaigning.
- Support and assist social/SEO strategy by contributing to post creation, scheduling and curating content.
- Maintain collateral archives and ensure placement of collateral citywide.
- Attend events scheduled and manage costumes, schedule, talking points, and anything else that is required for the event.
- Promote Ballet Arizona events at courtesy table by greeting patrons and answering questions.
- Respond to general inquiries from public regarding Ballet Arizona.
- Oversee and evaluate survey responses received after each performance using the Intrinsic Impact Dashboard.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Competencies:
- Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess a high level of digital literacy, be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and be comfortable working with databases.
- Must possess strong project management skills including planning, organizing, prioritizing, implementing, and evaluating.
- Must demonstrate a high-degree of integrity, dependability, accountability, and global fluency.
- Must possess excellent attention to detail and be able to work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Must be a strong collaborator and a team player.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years related experience in Marketing
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Arts, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in Spanish desirable
- Experience with Canva, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent digital media editing tools desirable
- Experience in the dance and/or performing arts field desirable.
