What is Dancers’ Choice?
Dancers’ Choice is Artist Relief Fund’s annual performance at Dorrance Theatre. The evening begins at 6:00 pm with a silent auction, then the theatre doors open at 7:00 pm for a performance staged and performed entirely by the dancers of Ballet Arizona. To cap off the evening, guests are invited to a catered reception where they will get to mix and mingle with the dancers.
Dancer’s Choice allows audiences to see excerpts from Ballet Arizona company repertoire as well as world premieres by company dancers. In the last 9 years, ARF has offered the opportunity for young artists to choreograph on a professional company and has presented over 30 world premieres.
