Alison’s passion for ballet began at the tender age of five after her first performance in The Nutcracker. She began her training at Walnut Hill School for the Arts Community Dance Academy and was then accepted, with a scholarship, into Walnut Hill’s full-time high school under the direction of Michael Owen. After graduation, Alison was offered a scholarship to attend Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Professional Division under the direction of Peter Boal. While at PNB, Alison performed in various company productions including Diamonds and Giselle. Upon completing her years at PNB Alison joined Ballet Arizona. Currently in her sixth season with the company, she has performed various roles in The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Allegro Brilliante, Cinderella, Carnival of the Animals, Sleeping Beauty, La Sylphide, Emeralds, Theme and Variations, Square Dance and several more.
