Camila Ibarra is a Transmission Line Engineer at a Fortune 100 company, Burns & McDonnell.
Camila has dedicated her efforts to modernizing the electric grid by designing infrastructure that delivers electricity and communication. Prior to joining Burns & McDonnell, Camila obtained her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University where she took various leadership positions in guiding engineering students through design projects and tutoring them in structural-mechanics courses. She also practiced public speech by sharing her story of being the second-to-youngest of ten siblings, and the first to pursue a college degree, in hopes to motivate future college student candidates.

On her free time, Camila enjoys weightlifting, hiking, attending art and music events, and spending time with her family.
