Sarah Kist is the General Manager of Fossil Engineering at Arizona Public Service Company (APS). Sarah leads an organization of engineers and project managers that support the Fossil Generation Fleet across the state as well as in New Mexico, including six gas and oil-fired power plants and two coal-fired power plants. Sarah has worked for APS for over ten years holding various roles in engineering and operations across the company’s different business units including roles at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Transmission and Distribution, and the Fossil organization.
Sarah was born in Illinois and relocated to Arizona with her family in 1988. She attended college at Arizona State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering in 2005.
Sarah is married with two daughters and in her free time enjoys spending time with family and friends.
