Summer Ballet School
June 8 – 18 & July 13 – 24, 2026
For Pre-Ballet, Beginner, and Intermediate
(SBAZ students: Pre-Ballet through Level 3)
This a fantastic opportunity for students as they grow their confidence and expand their knowledge under the guidance of internationally renowned instructors. Each session includes traditional ballet training with The School of Ballet Arizona teachers and live piano accompaniment at the state-of-the-art Ballet Arizona facility.
The Summer Ballet School is for young students to continue their training through focused ballet classes as well as learn new skills through other classes such as stretching, modern (Horton), character, and choreography.*
New students must attend the open audition or schedule an evaluation class for placement prior to registration.
*Supplemental classes are subject to change. Two and four-week sessions are available.
Pre Ballet (ages 7-8)
This program is perfect for children beginning training in the art of ballet. Classes will are one hour:
Tuesdays and Thursdays
June 8th-18th, 4:30 – 5:30 PM
July 13th-24th, 9:00 – 10:00 AM
Tuition: $120 for two weeks | $240 for four weeks | $40 registration fee
Dress Code:
Ladies: Pink tights, full-sole leather ballet shoes, white cap-sleeve leotard. Hair should be pulled back into a neat bun secured at the back of the head. No jewelry or other accessories.
Gentlemen: Black bike shorts, white ballet shoes, fitted white t shirt. Hair should be neat and out of the face.
Lower Division (ages 8-12)
The Lower Division program is for children with some dance experience who want to expand their knowledge.
Monday through Friday
June 8th-18th, 4:30 – 7:00 PM (2.5 hours)
July 13th-24th, 9:00 – 11:30 AM (2.5 hours)
Typically the supplemental classes are stretching, modern (Horton), character, and choreography.*
This program includes 3 levels for children aged 8-12 years.
Price: $700 for two weeks | $1400 for four weeks
Dress Code:

Gentlemen: Gray or black bike ballet tights, white ballet shoes, fitted white t shirt. Hair should be neat and out of the face.
All students should have a yoga mat for Conditioning and Yoga classes.
