About The School of Ballet Arizona
The School of Ballet Arizona provides dance training based on the evolving, yet traditional, concepts of classical ballet. Offering a wide variety of classes across a range of ages and skill levels, The School of Ballet Arizona is proud to offer comprehensive dance training that meets the expectations of professional dance companies, as well as those looking to dance as a supplement to enrich their lives.
Curriculum includes but is not limited to: Classical Ballet in a graded program for children to young adults, Pre-Ballet, Pointe and Men’s classes. This comprehensive syllabus has been developed to maintain the fundamental aspects of classical ballet technique and offer the highest quality training at every level, in every program, through:
- Internationally renowned faculty
- Live piano accompaniment for all ballet classes
- Performing opportunities with Ballet Arizona, such as The Nutcracker, and other productions
- A unique connection to Ballet Arizona as Arizona’s official Ballet Company
- Access to the finest dance facility in the Southwest
Ballet Arizona’s state-of-the-art facility is a great leap forward allowing The School of Ballet Arizona to significantly increase the education and dance training programs offered. With seven studios, locker rooms, parent lounge and student study area, students can focus and expand their training in this stimulating environment.
Graduates
Graduates of The School of Ballet Arizona have gone on to successful careers in various areas. Many have gone on to dance professionally with companies such as American Ballet Theatre, Royal Ballet of Flanders, Boston Ballet and Ballet Arizona. Currently, several alumni of The School have several students continuing their studies at internationally recognized schools such as The School of American Ballet, The Ailey School, and Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet School.
Students from the School of Ballet Arizona have been accepted into internationally prestigious programs such as the Paris Opera Ballet School and the Royal Ballet School.
