Professional Training Program
Professional Training Program
By Invitation Only
The Professional Training Program focuses on artistry and adding ‘final layers’ on top of the strong technical base and vocabulary that were built throughout the Core Program. Dancers need to possess a strong work ethic and understand that repetition is key for refinement. Variations and repertoire are worked on for many weeks while technique is strengthened and refined. The young adult dancers in the Professional Training Program are taught to have a positive sense of body image and self-confidence while the faculty helps them to branch into their next stages of training and/or their career.
Professional Training Program 1 & 2
Students in the Professional Training Program have demonstrated a strong understanding of Ballet technique as well as a high level of execution. These students must have the discipline and maturity to handle the increased training schedule of a full-time student. Students will train 4.5 hours daily. These students will work to refine their base of strength, vocabulary, and technique, in addition to focusing on different qualities in their movement. Classes include Ballet Technique, Pointe, Men’s Classes, Variations, Repertoire, Body Conditioning, Horton, and Contemporary.
