Studio Company Auditions
Auditions for the 2026-2027 season
Ballet Arizona’s Studio Company performs alongside the professional company and presents its own works independently. Acting as a bridge between school and professional life, Studio Company provides an opportunity for students of the highest rank to pursue a career in dance.
Open Auditions
On the day of the open audition, Ballet Arizona requires a resume, headshot, and two (2) full body photos.
Please fill out a registration form in advance and bring it with you to your audition. No pre-registration is required.
CV: Include all performing experience with a professional ballet company, training, height, awards received, visa status, etc.
Photos: Include your headshot and 2-3 dance photos that reveal body proportions and line.

Dancers accepted into the Company must have the right to live and work within the United States.

Video Auditions
We encourage dancers to attend the open auditions on Saturday, January 25 in New York City or on Sunday, February 2 in Phoenix. If you are unable to attend an open audition, click below to submit your CV, headshot, dance photos, and video links of class work (short barre and center work, including adagio, pirouettes, petite allegro, and grande allegro), a classical variation and a contemporary solo.

Please Note: If School Director James Payne is considering you for a position, you will be required to take Studio Company class in Phoenix upon invitation.
The School of Ballet Arizona is able to support vocational training visas (M1) for international dancers who are invited to be in the Studio Company. Dancers chosen for Studio Company are required to attend at least one week of the School of Ballet Arizona Summer Intensive.
Due to the high volume of submissions, you will only be contacted by a representative of The School of Ballet Arizona if Studio Company Manager Alecia Good-Boresow is considering you for a position in the Studio Company.
