Catherine Jablonsky recently retired from a fulfilling career focused on engineering software. Her newfound free time now allows her to fulfill a desire to more fully engage in support of the arts, preservation of the great outdoors, and spend more time practicing piano. She has been a long-time supporter of Ballet Arizona, watching its progression over the decades as it has evolved into the exceptional company it is today.
Catherine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona. She is an avid outdoors woman, with a particular soft spot for the Grand Canyon. For more than 20 years, she has led friends and family of all ages in backpacking trips down and up all the trails on the South Rim, enabling them to experience and appreciate the great outdoors in a locale that always inspires.
Catherine is thrilled and honored to be accepted to the board of Ballet Arizona. She is committed to supporting the mission and vision of Ballet Arizona, with particular interest in community outreach and making ballet accessible to all – not only as an audience member, but also to enable those who aspire to dance professionally to have the opportunity to challenge themselves, no matter their economic circumstances.
