Laurel began her ballet training at Ballet Etudes at the age of eleven. During the summers, she trained at American Ballet Theatre in New York City, the School of American Ballet, Colorado Ballet Academy, the Paris Opera Ballet School, the Royal Ballet School, and Houston Ballet Academy.
At sixteen, Laurel was accepted into the San Francisco Ballet School on scholarship for year-round training under the direction of Patrick Armand. In 2024, she became a trainee with San Francisco Ballet School. During her time there, she performed several corps de ballet roles with the San Francisco Ballet at the War Memorial Opera House, including Helgi Tomasson’s Nutcracker and Swan Lake, George Balanchine’s Symphony in C and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s Manon, and Liam Scarlett’s Frankenstein.
In 2025, Laurel joined the School of Ballet Arizona as a Studio Company member. During her season, she performed with Ballet Arizona in Septime Webre’s ALICE (in Wonderland) as the Eaglet, as well as in corps de ballet roles in The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker. Laurel is excited to join Ballet Arizona as a company member and looks forward to performing alongside such an inspiring group of artists.
