If you’ve ever wanted to see Ballet Arizona perform, the company’s free Ballet Under the Stars events across metro Phoenix in September is the perfect opportunity.

Since 1997, Ballet Under the Stars has staged outdoor performances that people can enjoy from the comfort of their lawn chair or picnic blanket.

Ballet Under the Stars is expanding in 2024: There will be six performances instead of four, with Peoria and Chandler participating for the first time.

“Our philosophy at Ballet Arizona is that it takes only one performance to change a life, and that is really the mission of Ballet Under the Stars,” said Claire Schmaltz, director of community engagement at Ballet Arizona.
