Choreographed by 2018 Tony Award-Winner and one of the most sought-after choreographers today, this ballet is compact, intense, and lightning fast. With music by Philip Glass, this Arizona premiere will be the highlight of the fall dance season.

Named “Best-Up-And-Coming=Choreographer”  By Phoenix New Times, Ballet Arizona dancer Nayon Iovino will present another brand new work on the Orpheum stage entitled Inherent, featuring scores by Vivaldi, Shostakovich, and Weber. A story about the legacy of life through dance, this piece takes you on a journey and grabs you by the heart.

Nayon Iovino has been accepted into the New York Choreographic Institute for their Spring 2019 program. Founded in the Spring of 2000 by Irene Diamond and Peter Martins, the Institute promotes the development of choreographers and dancers involved in classical choreography by providing opportunities to develop their talents. This prestigious honor is highly competitive and the choreographers are selected from a large number of applicants received each year and reviewed by a panel of experts. We are so proud of this incredible achievement!
