A romance that’s sure to set your heart aflame, the most famous love story of all time is performed just in time for Valentine’s Day with Prokofiev’s moving score played to perfection by The Phoenix Symphony. Set in 16th-century Verona, Romeo & Juliet chronicles Shakespeare’s tale of two passionate teenagers from great families on opposing sides of a bitter feud. With its sweepingly regal ballroom scenes, vivacious swordplay and poignant pas de deux, Ib Andersen’s production is a visual tour de force.

Un romance que seguramente encenderá tu corazón, la historia de amor más famosa de todos los tiempos se representa justo a tiempo para el Día de San Valentín con la conmovedora partitura de Prokofiev interpretada a la perfección por Phoenix Symphony. Establecida en Verona en el siglo 16, Romeo y Julieta narra la historia de Shakespeare de dos adolescentes apasionados de grandes familias en lados opuestos de una amarga disputa. La producción de Ib Andersen, con sus escenas de salón de baile, sus vivaces duelos de espadas y sus emotivos pas de deux, es un espectáculo visual impresionante.
