Our company dancers are officially back in the studios and already preparing for the first shows of our 2019-2020 season. But first, a few of them shared their adventures and what they were up to over the summer. Check out their photos below and join us as we welcome them back to the desert!

“I visited Horseshoe Bend for the first time!” – Serafin Castro

“I taught a week for a summer intensive at Lake Charles Dance Academy in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Then I went back to Michigan to spend lots of quality time with family and friends, where my husband and I went to a music festival called Electric Forest. We also celebrated our one year anniversary!” – Abby Phillips Maginity

“I spent my summer in sunny San Diego going to the beach, visiting Balboa park, enjoying museums, and taking day trips to Los Angeles. The best part though was all of the family time. I also did a lot of pilates and hot yoga to stay in shape and keep my flexibility.” – Erick Garnica

“We went to Bartlett Lake for Alejandro’s birthday and we visited Canyon Lake. After that we went to Disneyland!” – Arianni Martin & Alejandro Mendez

“This summer I was a chaperone for the students in the School of Ballet Arizona’s Summer Intensive program. I also visited the White Mountains in Arizona, where my boyfriend and I got engaged!” – Colleen Buckley

“This summer I spent time dancing at Ballet West in Salt Lake City as well as taking classes at Steps on Broadway in New York City. I had the opportunity to travel back home to Connecticut where I spent time visiting friends and family, shopping at local markets, discovering local cafes, playing basketball, and swimming. I also spent a few weeks in Phoenix with friends, went hiking and attended my first Diamondbacks game.” – Eastlyn Jensen

“I went home to Cuba in July to visit my family!” – Javi Corrales
