This summer, Leticia plans to stay busy with many different things! First thing, she has planned after the end of the season is a trip back to Brazil. There, she will be renewing her visa and visiting family and friends who she misses very much.

Besides working her visa, she plans to spend as much time with family as possible, laughing with them and doing some of their favorite activities, like having a movie night and traveling. During the month of July, Leticia and her family have a trip planned to visit a northeast beach town called, Natal. She is very excite for this, because she loves the beach!

Additionally, she plans on visiting her grandmother, and sharing their adventures with each other while she has been here in Arizona, over some pão de queijo and cafezinho (this Brazilian cheese bread with coffee). Which can be described as “one of the best things on Earth”, by Leticia.

She plans to have some nights out with friends and go to young adults meetings at her home church with them. Help with the kid’s camp at the beginning of July. Enjoy some hikes to see the beautiful waterfalls they have close to her hometown. To top it all off, she will do something nice for her birthday, which has not been decided just yet!

Although she wants to rest and do all the things listed above, she will be reserving some time to work with conditioning her body, especially after some ankle injuries this season. She plans to keep up by doing strength exercises learnt at PT and adding together with those some Pilates classes, conditioning classes and of course doing ballet classes as well. Hoping this will help her body recover but kept active too.

This summer Rachel plans to visit family in Westfield, Indiana. While she is there, she will get to meet here, one-month-old niece, Olivia! Her summer will also include teaching at the School of Ballet Arizona and the studio she grew up at when visiting Indiana, Central Indiana Academy of Dance. How exciting is that! To stay in shape and to continue her practice she plans to take ballet classes, Pilates, and Gyrotonics.

One of her favorites hobbies is wheel throwing pottery, and she will be taking classes this summer to learn new skills. Some other travel plans include San Diego, Los Angeles, and Chicago- to visit friends Last, but not least, she is also hoping to adopt a cat this summer!
