Gail Passey-Reed teaching an adult open class at The School of Ballet Arizona.

Just because you’re home right now, does not mean you shouldn’t be able to enjoy taking a ballet class! The School of Ballet Arizona (SBAZ) is now offering open classes on Zoom, which means whether you’re a first-timer or a regular, you can twinkle those toes once again!

Here is everything you need to know:

All classes are $10 each and pre-registration is required! To pay and register, click here and select the class you would like to attend under Live Video Classes. Classes vary from beginner through advanced, we even have a Horton Technique modern class!

Monday’s Class Schedule:
7:00 – 8:15 pm Beginner Adult Ballet

Tuesday’s Class Schedule:
9:00 – 10:15 am Intermediate/Advanced Ballet

Wednesday’s Class Schedule:
7:00 – 8:15 pm Horton Technique

Thursday’s Class Schedule:

Saturday’s Class Schedule:

Now we know you are just as excited as we are but here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Please use good judgement in using a stable ‘barre’
  • Wear proper footwear for the surface you are on, i.e. ballet slippers, socks, your bare feet!
  • Wear comfortable clothing! Although we recommend wearing a leotard and tights in our classes, they are not required. Leggings, sweatpants, and t-shirts work as well.

*The School of Ballet Arizona is not liable for any injury resulting from following a classwork video.
